PHILIPPINES – Taiwanese computer brand ECS or Elitegroup Computer Systems Co., recently launched their new line of mini PCs in the country.
The Liva Mini PC product lineup consists of four series, which are the Q Series (Pocket-sized PC), X Series (Cost-effective), Z Series (Energy Efficient) and One series (High-performance). All of them are going to be available in the Philippines except for the One series (which wasn’t unveiled to us on the event).
One of the mini PCs launched is the Liva Q, a pocket-sized mini PC that despite its very compact size, it promises big performance on-board.
It supports Ultra HD (4K), being paired with Intel’s Apollo Lake SoC, as well as either 2GB/4GB of RAM, and having eMMC (32GB/64GB) as well as a microSD card slot which would expand the storage up to 128GB.
Other features include Gigabit LAN port, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 3.1, HDMI as well as a remote for turning the system on/off (not in the picture).
There’s also the Liva Z which is slightly bigger that the Liva Q and is sporting a bit different design, but it is an absolutely beefed-up version of the Q series with a larger body.
There’s also your common HTPC features, like WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, HDMI and Mini DisplayPort for display connectivity, as well as a USB 3.1 Type-C port, and dual Gigabit LAN port.
Finally, the Liva XE is the biggest among the three, and will sport beefed-up specs than the Liva Z.
