One of the most anticipated events in terms of travel, sports and adventure lifestyle perhaps is the unveiling of newest video/photo capture equipment – and it is to save your memories, and do some amazing aftermovies. Because GoPro is well-known for producing quality action cameras, their launch of the new Hero 6 Black is quite anticipated, knowing that this is their most powerful one, yet.
No changes outside?
While the numerical name has changed from 5 to 6, the Hero 6 Black retains the same exterior design as its predecessor. The body is still rugged even without case, and is still waterproof of up to 10 meters. It still has GPS, a 2-inch touchscreen, and voice controls (in ten languages) for hands-free operation.
The new GoPro Hero 6 Black can also transfer files to your smartphone using the better 5GHz Wi-Fi, which is three times faster than before, according to the company.
GoPro One Inside?
But even there’s no significant change outside, new changes brings improvements on the inside. Because of the new custom-designed processor called GP1, its main highlight is having the capability to record 4K footage at 60 frames per second. The GP1 processor also delivers better overall video quality and improved digital image stabilization.
All about slow-motion footages
Of course, will GoPro forget to adjust its lower video resolutions? There’s now 2.7K at 120fps and Full HD 1080p at a whopping 240fps.
Pricing and Availability
The Hero 6 Black will retail for USD $500, a hundred dollars more than its predecessor. And as YugaTech reports, its Philippine pricing might be PhP28,990
