Xiaomi keeps being on the spotlight lately with their recent launch of 3 new products, the Mi Mix 2, Mi Note 3 and Mi Notebook Pro – yet now, they’re on the rumor spotlight again because a mysterious Xiaomi smartphone – codenamed Chiron, has appeared on GeekBench database.
Chiron, according to GeekBench, has a 5.6-inch screen with a 16.5:9 aspect ratio giving it a weird resolution of 1080x1980px. It also touts a Snapdragon 835 chipset which most flagships on 2017 had, Adreno 540 GPU, 6GB of RAM and an enormous 256GB of built-in storage.
Other than that, Chiron has a 11MP main camera (though it wasn’t clear if this will also sport a dual cam or single cam setup) with 4K video recording, and a 5MP camera on the front.
And Chiron might come out with Android 7.1 Nougat / MIUI 9 out of the box. It’s not clear when or if this device will go out with the name Chiron or would it be named different as well as when it will be announced and released.
Of course, if this is priced like any other Xiaomi flagship phones, there will be a good fight between the other flagships and this one.
